Back from Mallorca yesterday - phew - if I thought it was hot before I left - it was nothing compared to there! 38 degrees at night!! I'm so tired but slept like a baby in the coolness and comfort of my own bed last night.
My lovely neighbour has been tending my plants at home and I have baby aubergines and some tomatoes ripe and ready. Unfortunately something has eaten my cabbage seedlings completely - I would imagine slugs as I know they had some heavy rain while we were away. Never mind - they were looking a bit sad anyway.
I haven't had chance to go to the plot yet but will try later on today.
